Create a quote in Smile
A quote is a formal statement of the cost to provide an account, subscription or other service to a customer. Smile treats quotes as open invoices. A quote does not affect the account balance until it is closed. When you close a quote, Smile turns the quote into an invoice and adds the invoice value to the account balance.

Quotes and other open invoices are displayed in the Open Invoices section of the Account tab.

To create a quote, raise a manual invoice against an account. Save the manual invoice, and select Leave Open. This saves the quote as a draft transaction, without raising an invoice.

Default and favourite reports in Smile Analytics
If you work with Smile Analytics you can bookmark the reports you use regularly, so you can find them quickly next time.

To set a report as a Favourite, click  in the icon set at the top right of the report. The report icon will change to  and the report will be added to the Favourites group in the Analytics Menu Tree on the left of the Analytics page. Multiple reports can be set as a favourite.

To set a report as the default, open the report you want to select, then in the Analytics menu, click Set as default report. The report will be set as the default and the  icon will be displayed in the report icon set at the top right of the report. The default report is the first entry in the Favourites group.
