|2017 in review
It’s hard to believe we’re at the end of another year.
Here at Inomial, in addition to welcoming our many new customers, 2017 was very much about helping our existing customers transition to the new Smile 6.0 (and now 6.1) architecture.
Smile 6.1 introduced a number of foundational changes to how we operate our data centre, including:
Our development team has been hard at work taking advantage of the new architecture that we’ve deployed, and we are now putting the finishing touches on a surprisingly large number of new products that we’ll be announcing in the coming year.
I’ve never been more excited about the future of Smile software, and I can’t wait to tell you more.

|Managing financial details in Smile
The following actions can be performed in Smile software to manage a customer’s transactions, payments and discounts:
View payment history – The Payment Settings page lists the history and status of all attempted payments for an account, and the account’s default payment method.
Change the default payment method – Smile uses the default payment method to process scheduled payments. You can change the default payment method entirely or update the existing method.Allocate transactions – Transactions can be auto-allocated to apply credits to the oldest outstanding debits or manually allocated to apply credit to a specific outstanding debit.
Add an automatic discount – Smile billing applies any automatic discount to each bulk or manual invoice raised against an account or subscription.
Zero an account – Zeroing an account returns the account balance to $0 and lets you write off outstanding debts.

Our offices will be closed over the Christmas – New Year period from Monday 25th December through to Monday 1st January 2018. We will be open again on Tuesday 2nd January 2018.
