BigAir
BigAir is a leading fixed and mobile wireless internet service provider located in Sydney. BigAir commissioned Inomial to replace their two existing, in-house developed systems with a single Smile server instance. Inomial customised Smile to suit BigAir’s extensive RFP requirements including enhanced provisioning of iBurst and Unwired services, scripted shaping, and IP management for their fixed wireless network.

NewSat
Melbourne/Sydney based NewSat provides broadband internet and managed high speed private networking to inaccessible locations via it’s satellite teleports located in Perth and Adelaide.
NewSat is currently transitioning it’s SalesForce/DataDirector based customer management system to a hosted Smile solution. Voice and Data.
Vocus Communications
Vocus is a carrier of data and voice products and internet transit, providing services to large Australian and international ISPs, including diverse wavelengths on the Southern Cross Cable Network. Inomial provides billing consultancy and customised Smile solutions to allow Vocus to rate over 300 CDRs per second, straight from it’s softswitch, running on off-the-shelf HP Intel servers.
Vocus uses Smile Server software and is enrolled in our Smile 5.1 beta program. We are working closely with Vocus to ensure that their complex carrier requirements are met. Voice and Data.
McPherson Media Internet
McPherson Media Internet (MMI) is a large, Shepparton-based retailer of wireless internet services, including wireless DOCSIS and WiMax, in several regional centres.
In 2006, MMI migrated it’s NetFlow, H323 and SIP based products from various other vendors to a single Smile Server instance. MMI uses Smile, Flow Control and a custom CMTS integration system to allow NetFlow with dynamic IP allocation. Voice and Data.
Inomial has been providing data rating services and consultancy to MMI since our inception in 1998. Inomial also provides extensive consultancy on MMI’s mail and other ancillary services.
Neighbourhood Cable
Now part of TransACT, Inomial provided the rating engine for Neighbourhood Cable’s extensive HFC telephony network. Neighbourhood Cable’s plans include capped plans and other complex billing requirements.
Neighbourhood Cable also consulted extensively with Inomial during the deployment of their second-generation mail server cluster, which included fault-tolerant, redundant and high-availability aspects. Inomial’s product, Boxes, uses the same technology to deliver results even in adverse network conditions.
Neighbourhood Cable uses Smile 4 integrated with their in-house cable accounting system. Voice only.
Platform Networks
Platform Networks is a VSP wholesaler who specialises in providing upstream services to small to medium “virtual” service providers.
Platform Networks uses Smile Server and is in the process of installing Flow Control. Inomial also provides billing services, consultancy and support to Platform Networks. Platform Networks is enrolled in our Smile 5.1 beta program and we are working together to provide the novel end-to-end functionality required to support their vision. Voice and Data.
Broadband Solutions
Broadband Solutions is a retail ISP providing voice and data solutions to the corporate market. One of our earliest voice customers, Inomial is helping Broadband Solutions to roll out their extensive reseller program.
Broadband Solutions uses Smile Server. Voice and Data.
WiFiZone
WifiZone is a wireless hotspot ISP which specialises in providing wireless internet in hospitality locations including caravan parks, hotels and cruise ships. Inomial works with WiFiZone to manage authentication and accounting and voucher creation and deployment. Smile is also used to manage the WiFiZone reseller network.
WiFiZone uses Hosted Smile. Data only.
Aardvark Internet
Aardvark Internet is a retail ISP located in suburban Melbourne. Aardvark operates a number of individual brands. Inomial provides billing, mail and ongoing migration services to Aardvark including management of the various brands, logos etc.
Aardvark uses Hosted Smile and Boxes mail. Voice and Data.
Inomial software is deployed in a large number of diverse installations including wholesalers, retailers, mixed providers and shopfronts. Both hosted and (where appropriate) server based installations at all levels have been successfully deployed.
Operational deployments include wired (dialup, DSL), wireless (WiMAX, DOCSIS), Mobile (iBurst, Unwired), and hotspot (wifi). Almost all of our success stories include both a data and voice component.

Planet Ozi
In our latest success story, Inomial migrated 8,000 mailboxes from a legacy data centre in Perth to Inomial’s Boxes hosted mail server, located in Sydney. After an extensive evaluation and planning period, Inomial’s migration plan resulted in a successful migration of all mailboxes -- with zero scheduled or unscheduled downtime. End users did not need to be aware of the transition.
